Howie Danzik is the CEO and owner of Danzik Enterprises in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2012, Howie Danzik was elected to the Executive Committee of the Independent Business Owners Association International (IBOAI).
In June of 2013, the IBOAI and Metro Health sponsored the Jared Veldheer Football Camp for young middle school athletes in Grand Rapids, Michigan. An offensive tackle for the Oakland Raiders, Veldheer was joined by several collegiate football players from nearby universities. During the two-hour camp, the middle school athletes learned new moves, practiced the fundamentals, and received advice on how to take care of their bodies.
All funds raised through the football camp go back to Keeping the Beat, a project initiated by Metro Health and sponsored by IBOAI. Keeping the Beat raises awareness about Sudden Cardiac Arrest and provides free heart screenings for students.
